Switch to Green Electricity

An average household can cut its Carbon Dioxide emissions by 1.5tonnes a year by switching from a normal electricity supplier to a green tariff.

MEA have teamed up with Ecotricity to offer Green Tariffs to the three LCC areas. Ecotricity offer electricity created from entirely renewable sources such as wind.

Please contact Ecotricity on 08000 326 100 and quote LCCS to switch your tariff (Cost of tariff to be confirmed with Ecotricity).

Ecotricity will pay MEA £15 per switch, which will then be reinvested in energy efficiency schemes within the three communities.

LCC Launch

Our first three Low Carbon Communities have launched in Cleobury Mortimer, Ellesmere and the Floodplain Community.
