Save energy, save money!!! 

Marches Energy Agency seeks to improve the energy efficiency of houses within the three communities.

As everyone will be aware, energy bills are at the highest levels for many years and are set to increase further.

If you are a resident in Cleobury Mortimer, Ellesmere or the 'Floodplain Community' SE of Oswestry, the Low Carbon Communities team can offer you a free 'energy health check' in your home.

This involves a question and answer session, in which your energy use and consumption is discussed. From this we will be able to advise you on possible measures to implement in your home to improve the energy efficiency.

This will not only reduce the CO₂ footprint of your home, but can also save you money on your heating and electricity bills!

Offers Currently Available:   

• Free household insulation for the over 70's
• You can receive free energy efficient measures if you are in receipt of benefits
• Heavily subsidised loft and cavity wall insulation.
