Marches Energy Agency seeks to improve the energy efficiency of houses within the three communities.

As everyone will be aware, energy bills are at the highest levels for many years and are set to increase further.

If you are a resident in Cleobury Mortimer, Ellesmere or the 'Floodplain Community' SE of Oswestry, the Low Carbon Communities team can offer you a free 'energy health check' in your home.

This involves a question and answer session, in which your heating and electricity use and your home's energy efficiency are discussed. From this we will be able to advise you on possible measures to implement in your home to improve the energy efficiency and therefore help reduce your consumption.

This will not only reduce the CO₂ footprint of your home, but can also save you money on your heating and electricity bills!
