Low Carbon Communities for Business is offering a service to assist in identifying and reducing the Carbon footprint of your business. By assessing your individual business energy needs we can suggest any areas where it might be possible to reduce your energy consumption – and costs! If you are eligible for free assistance please download, complete and return this form. A member of our team will then get in touch. Where projects yielding substantial savings identified there is capital funding of up to a third available. These could be anything from low energy lighting for a shop, to a solar hot water for a pub, for example. There is also further assistance available for those wishing to start-up or diversify businesses into the ‘Low Carbon Economy’. We hope to be able to encourage the local business community to ‘do it’s bit’ whilst recognizing that embracing the Low Carbon Economy can mean bottom-line savings and new business opportunities; hopefully identifying total savings of around 25% of our total target (750 tonnes of CO2) by 2009.
